AUGUSTA, Ga. (WFXG) - Upper level troughing and surface high pressure will move offshore today. An upper-level ridge building over the region will bring generally dry conditions and above normal temperatures into next week. The shortwave has weakened and clouds are scattering out this morning.
Southwesterly flow will increase, leading to much warmer conditions than what has been seen the past several days. Highs are expected to be in the mid 80s. It should remain dry, but there is some indication that a few sea breeze showers will again be possible over the eastern Midlands this evening. However, given low confidence have left out of the forecast for now.
