RICHMOND COUNTY, GA (WFXG) - The Augusta-Richmond County Commissioners decided in an unanimous vote to hold off on deciding which Lake Olmstead design they plan to move forward with.

The two designs were approved by the planning committee at the end of April, but now commissioners would like more time to discuss.

In Tuesday’s commissioners meeting, commissioners discussed possibly sending commissioners out to the site with architects and planners to walk through and discuss options that will allow utilization of the lake as it is right near the site.
