THOMSON, GA (WFXG) - The Blind Willie Mctell music festival brought a crowd to Thomson Saturday, May 4.
Hundreds showed up to listen to multiple bands, artists, and vendors made an appearance too.
This is the 26th year of the festival and organizers tell FOX 54 it gets bigger each year.
McDuffie County Tourism Director, Elizabeth Vance said, "Listen, if you like music, you need to come here, because you’re going to find another artist you’ve never heard of before that all of a sudden you love, and you want to hear more of their music.”
Vance says the small town feel, reasonable prices, and great music is why fans come back each year.
The festival happens the first weekend of May every year, and Vance says to mark your calendars.
