RICHMOND COUNTY, GA (WFXG) - The Richmond County Democratic Party has moved its doors.
On Friday, the headquarters on Broad St. had its grand opening. Previously, the party met on Greene St.
Chairman Jordan Johnson says moving to the middle of downtown will help the local party reach it’s goals. “Our efforts have to continue past President Obama, past Stacey Abrams. We have to continue to elect good democrats. We have to continue to do the work, making sure that as many people as we can register to vote are registered, making sure that people in the community who has an opinion or who has a concern has an opportunity to voice that concern, and making sure we’re putting good people in office to handle those concerns.”
The next meeting is the second Thursday in May.
