Juveniles arrested in Grovetown graffiti case

GROVETOWN, GA (WFXG) - Grovetown Public Safety has arrested 2 juveniles in connection to a vandalism case in the city.

On Tuesday, public safety reached out on social media, asking for the public’s help identifying 2 people who allegedly caused damage to several buildings in the city, including Creekside Estates, Goodale Park, Barney’s Pharmacy, KJ’s, IGA Market, and ACE Hardware.

Update (4/24/19 17:00 hrs): The two offenders were identified, arrested and each charged with: 2 counts - Interference with Government Property 1 count - Criminal Damage to Property 2nd Degree 3 counts - Criminal Trespass —————————————————— We are seeking your help in identifying the following two suspects. Both are wanted for questioning regarding Felony Criminal Damage to Property and Interference with Government Property occurring in multiple locations on 04/23/19 between 01:00 AM and 02:45 AM inside the city limits of Grovetown. Locations affected include Creekside Estates, Goodale Park, Barney’s Pharmacy, KJ’s / IGA Market and ACE Hardware. Both subjects appear to be between the ages of 14 and 20, and are either light-skinned black or Hispanic males. The crimes occurred on Apr. 23 between 1 and 2:45 a.m. The suspects were believed to be between the ages of 14 and 20 years old.

On Wednesday afternoon, public safety announced that the suspects had been arrested. Both juveniles have been charged with 2 counts of interference with government property, criminal damage to property 2nd degree, and 3 counts of criminal trespass.
