AUGUSTA (WFXG) -The weather will be calm overnight, with temperatures not falling as far as the previous few mornings. Monday morning’s lows only bottom out in the mid-60s across the CSRA. There won’t be any problems for our commutes, with highs in the mid-80s under partly cloudy skies. Tuesday will be a bit warmer with highs in the mid to upper 80s. A cold front will move across out area late Tuesday into Wednesday, bringing with it a slight chance of rain.
The cooler air will filter in for the end of the week with morning lows back in the 50s on Thursday and highs only near 70 degrees. Friday morning will be even cooler with morning lows near 50 degrees. There is a good chance of rain on Saturday as another front slides through our area. This could bring the coldest air of the season so far into the CSRA to start out the following work week with morning lows in the 40s possible. – Meteorologist Andrew Gorton
