MARTINEZ (WFXG) - The trial for a man accused of rape at a Columbia County day spa will start at 9 a.m. , Monday. Damione Aaron Evans was arrested by the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office for the incident that allegedly happened back in May of 2016, at the King’s Health Spa on South Belair Road.

Evans will face charges of Rape, Aggravated Battery and Aggravated Sodomy, as well as two counts of both Kidnapping and Robbery.

According to the police report, a female employee says Evans came into the store and began knocking on the door that leads to the back of the store. The employee answered the door, and that’s when she says Evans forced her to the ground, which knocked her unconscious.

Evans reportedly stole around $300 from a drawer in the business’s kitchen. The witness says once he had the money, Evans forced her to perform oral sex and have sexual intercourse with him.

It’s reported that Evans then left through the back door and left in a black car.
