Built in 1785 GA's oldest documented houses with the design intact. Design and structure are typical of the structure of the Quakers who settled in Thomson from New Jersey. Built by Thomas Ansley was occupied until the 1930's. Said to be the home of ancestors of former president Jimmy Carter. It is now owned by the Wrightsboro Quaker Foundation and is listed on the National register of historic places.
