Human remains discovered in McCormick County

MCCORMICK COUNTY, SC (WFXG) -

Investigators have discovered human remains in McCormick County. It’s unknown if the remains are of one or two people.

The identity of the remains is unknown, an autopsy is set to be performed and South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is investigating after finding the remains, Tuesday.

SLED worked overnight Tuesday, into Wednesday to process the scene. Their investigation continues.

    Around 90 women came out to Tuscany Spa in Evans for the 15th annual Spa Day for gynecological cancer patients and survivors on Sept. 19. The spa day was fully paid for by the CSRA Gynecological cancer survivors support group. This event is put on every year and gives survivors and patients a chance to escape reality, even just for a day.
