BOOM! in the Park to be held at Patriots Park

COLUMBIA COUNTY, GA (WFXG) -

Due to damage to Evans Towne Center Park, Columbia County's Independence Day celebration will be held at Patriot's Park this year.

BOOM! in the Park will be held July 4 from 5 to 10 p.m. General Admission is free. With the purchase of a $5 wristband, attendees can also enjoy carnival rides, inflatables, and train rides. Park Pass holders will be able to get in at 4 p.m. and enjoy the rides at no cost. Bands will take the stage from 5 to 7:30 p.m. and fireworks will start at around 9:15 p.m.

Park Passes are available at evanstownecenterpark.com/parkpass.

Park Pass holders will be able to park on site at lots off of William Few Pkwy and will be granted admission one hour prior to general admission gates. General Admission parking will be located at the Columbia County Fairgrounds. Limited ADA parking will be located inside the Patriot’s Park gates off of the Columbia Road entrance.
