(WFXG) - The Richmond County Health Department is hosting meeting for expecting moms to help one another. The program is called Centering Pregnancy and it's available for all expecting mothers, not just first-time mothers.
The idea behind the initiative is to give women the time and space to help one another through their pregnancies as they answer each other's questions and talk about what new issues they may be facing as their pregnancies develop.
Richmond County nurse manager, Rebecca Kershner, joined us on FOX 54 to talk about the program, the benefits and how you can find information for the sessions in the video above.
If you have any other question about the program, you can also reach out to the Richmond County Health Department at (706)721-5900.
