AIKEN COUNTY, SC (WFXG) - Local vendors will be selling goods during the Evening Aiken County Farmers Market.
The market is located at 115 Williamsburg Street in Aiken. The market will be open every Thursday 5 to 7 p. m. on Thursdays during June.
"Being open at these times will complement the popular Market in the Alley in nearby downtown Aiken," said market manager Joe Patterson. "Produce vendors asked that we keep the Williamsburg Street market shelter open because it is covered, has fans and enables them to offer their produce without transporting it downtown. We encourage shoppers to visit the Williamsburg market shelter before or after visiting the Market in the Alley."
Produce at the market shelter will include beans, beets, blackberries, blueberries, broccoli, cabbage, cantaloupes, cucumbers, greens, onions, peaches, peas, peppers, radishes, squash, strawberries, sweet corn, tomatoes, watermelons and zucchini. Eggs, baked goods and crafts also will be available.
