Local government candidate forum tonight

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

A candidate forum for those seeking local office is set to take place tonight 7p.m. at Julian Smith BBQ Pit.

The Augusta Richmond County Committee for Good Government is hosting the event.

Candidate for the following races listed below have been invited to speak. Members of the committee will vote for the candidate they like best and committee will endorse the candidates with the most votes.

Candidates who’ve been invited are running in the following races:

  • Mayor of Augusta
  • Commission Districts 2,4,6, and 10
  • Judge of State Court
  • State Representative District 123
  • State Representative District 126
