GREER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A man being sought by Greenville County deputies on multiple charges was arrested Thursday night and booked into the Greenville County Detention Center Friday early morning.

Deputies said they were dispatched to a disturbance call on Babb Road around 3:40 p.m. Thursday, but when they arrived the suspect, Marshall Thurmond, had already fled the scene.

A perimeter was setup and deputies began searching the area for Thurmond, who deputies said had multiple active warrants for his arrest.

After nearly five hours of searching, deputies said they found Thurmond along Babb Road and captured him.

According to the Greenville County Detention Center, Thurmond is charged with domestic violence second degree, malicious damage, and resisting arrest. He's also being held on another domestic violence warrant
