Skyler Ewing's bat led the GreenJackets to a 3-1 win over the RiverDogs on Sunday night in Charleston.

The GreenJackets' first baseman had two RBI's in the cleanup spot including a solo home run in the fourth inning.  He would add on an RBI double in the fifth inning, which was more than enough for Augusta's pitching.  Yordy Cabrera threw 6 innings, only allowing one run on the day.  Their bullpen would hold it the rest of the way with Patrick Ruotolo getting his 16th save on the season.

Augusta will be back in action against the RiverDogs on Monday night in Charleston.  First-pitch is scheduled for 4:05 P.M.  A victory would give the GreenJackets a series win.

If you're on the Riverwalk going forward, there's a chance you can see an increase in Law Enforcement. That's because there's going to be a Richmond County Sheriff's substation at the Riverwalk. On Monday there was the grand opening of the new substation which sits inside of the Unisys Building. Despite it being in that building, Deputies will be patrolling that growing area around the clock. "The downtown area is continuing to grow, it's continuing to revive its...More >>
