Aiken Department of Public Safety to Host "E-6 Push-In Ceremony"

AIKEN, SC (WFXG) -

The Aiken Department of Public Safety is inviting the Aiken community to join them at their headquarters Monday, August 14th.

They will  host their traditional fire department " Push-In Ceremony". Their newest fire truck, Engine 6 will be introduced to the community and placed into service. The engine will be given a final inspection  by Chief Barranco, who will be joined by special guests.

Following the ceremony, the new truck will be available for public viewing prior to the city council meeting in front of the City of Aiken Municipal Building, 214 on Park Avenue SW.
