AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

Georgia Department of Transportation crews must fix concrete slabs on I-20 approaching the Georgia Welcome Center.

A left lane will remain closed Monday, July 17th through Thursday July 20th.

Until the bridges over the Savannah River and Augusta Canal are replaced, updates to I-20 like this ensure the Interstate’s safety for drivers.

GDOT estimates the work to last over the next 4-6 weeks.
