NORTH AUGUSTA, SC (WFXG) -

North Augusta Forward will be hosting Cinco de Mayo at the Square.

The event will take place May 5th from 6 p.m.-10 p.m. It will be at the Truck Stop at Jackson Square. There will be $5 beers and wine along with food trucks. Bethany and the Southside Boys will also be featured. Tickets are $10 on Eventbrite and $12 at the door. This event benefits the Frog Shop.

    Around 40 volunteers made their way into the CSRA in the morning on June 23rd to bring brand new beds to children in need. The program is called A Place to Dream, and is sponsored by the YMCA.  There were five homes that got new beds.
