Deputies searching for theft suspect at Grovetown AT&T store

COLUMBIA COUNTY, GA (WFXG) -

Columbia County deputies are searching for a theft suspect at the Grovetown AT&T store.

Deputies say the couple walked into the store and the female sat down, as if she was waiting for service. The male, then went to an iPhone on display and disconnected it. Deputies say he then put the phone to his ear, as if he was having a conversation on it, and then the couple both walked out of the store.

Deputies say the couple got in a white 4-door sedan, possibly a Nissan and drove away.

The male is described as a black male, about 6'0" tall, 185 pounds, with dreadlocks. The female is described as a black female, wearing jeans and a floral shirt.
