FULTON, CO, GA (WSB/CNN) - The homeless man charged with starting a fire under the Interstate 85 bridge in Atlanta is out of jail on bond.

Additional conditions of Basil Eleby's bond include seeking gainful employment, random drug testing, and getting housing and treatment. Eleby is set to return to court in a status hearing scheduled for June 16.

He made no comment leaving law proceedings on Wednesday. His lawyers said the state should not have placed materials under the overpass, and described the man as a scapegoat.
