THOMSON, GA (WFXG) -

The McDuffie County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a burglary that happened on Twin Oaks Road earlier this month.

According to investigators, in the daylight hours of March 9, the suspect pictured in this article broke into the home at 721 Twin Oaks Road in Thomson and stole several items, including jewelry, electronics, alcohol, cash, a Glock Model 22 and a long rifle. The suspect was caught on security camera. He was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, purple or burgundy pants and white shoes. He left the scene on a bicycle carrying a dark-colored duffel bag. Investigators believe he may have ties to the Twin Oaks Road area, but may not live in the area.

Investigators found the suspect's bicycle and some of the stolen items in a wooded area near the home.

If you have any information about this suspect, please contact Sergeant Larry Adaway at 706-597-2616.
