AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

The countdown is on to Masters Week, and the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce is ready to roll out the red carpet for business leaders who are visiting from across the world.

During Monday evening's red carpet preview, guests can expect to hear how business leaders across the CSRA are working to leverage and showcase all that the region has to offer.

According to a release from the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce, folks who attend Monday's meeting will get the inside scoop on new businesses that are slated to come to town and how developers are working to further growth in the region.

Chamber officials said it's also important to showcase how the area's southern hospitality plays a major role in recruiting and retaining these opportunities.

With projections that show both the labor force and consumer spending consistently increasing over the next five years, officials believe it's important to get as much international buzz surrounding the CSRA as possible.

Along with representatives from the Augusta Metro Chamber, guests will include the executive directors from Columbia and Richmond county's development authorities.

Doors will open at 4:00 p.m. The event is free for chamber members. The fee for perspective members is $25.
