Two people wanted for check fraud at multiple CSRA Walmarts

COLUMBIA COUNTY, GA (WFXG) -

The pictured suspects are responsible for presenting counterfeit checks and presenting fake ID’s at various Walmart locations in Columbia County, Richmond County and Aiken County. 

The victim, Ernest Irving discovered two fraudulent checks were used at the Walmart in Grovetown. The checks were written in the amounts of $449.48 and $478.63. He also noticed similar alerts on his account from Aiken, SC, Augusta, and Atlanta, GA. They are believed to be driving a burgundy van.

    Two suspects have been arrested in a drug bust in Sardis. The Burke County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division arrested forty-six-year-old David Austin Hammond and thirty-six-year-old Stephanie Belanger on Thursday, Nov. 16.
