GROVETOWN, GA (WFXG) - Grovetown Public Works has lifted the "boil water" advisory for people living along Ford Avenue and School Street. The advisory was issued Monday, and Public Works wanted to get water test results before giving people the "all clear" to drink the tap water.
This advisory was tied to road work. Grovetown is working to widen a nearby road because of the extensive growth in the community. Some people may have experienced recent water outages.
Grovetown called the "boil water" notice a precaution. We're told neither the water system nor the water quality has been compromised.
