NORTH AUGUSTA, SC (WFXG) - North Augusta Public Safety is trying to track down a couple of creative shoplifters. Investigators say the man and woman in these photos did not pay for all the items in their cart before they left Walmart. The couple is accused of bagging expensive items without ringing them up in the self-checkout line. They did scan some of the cheaper items and ended up paying for about $100 worth of groceries. They had a child with them, but the child has been cropped out of these photos.

An employee reportedly approached the couple as they were leaving, but the suspects laughed at the employee. They then loaded the stolen items into a vehicle and left.

If you have questions or information that could help officers identify the couple, please contact the Patrol Division at 803-279-2121.
