As many as 100 jobs coming to Augusta

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) - ICT Industries has purchased the former International Flavors & Fragrances manufacturing facility in Augusta. The Augusta Economic Development Authority says the company expects to begin production in the near future. The plan includes creating up to 100 new jobs within 5 years.

ICT Industries will not be able to make the hires until the former IFF facility is retrofitted. The timeline for that has not been disclosed.

ICT was founded in 1997. It produces specialty polymers and surfactants that are used in the products manufactured by other companies. The company also provides custom manufacturing for some multi-national chemical corporations.
