AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

Planned Parenthood is no longer providing health care at the Augusta Health Center. According to the agency's website, the clinic at Broad and 13th Streets is closing. The reason boils down to cost and efficiency. Planned Parenthood Southeast says it is putting resources to other communities.

If former Augusta Health Center patients need copies of their medical records, they have to request a form. You can do that by calling Planned Parenthood staff at (404) 688-9300.

Planned Parenthood is referring patients to Medical Associates Plus @ Belle Terrace on Golden Camp Road, or to Planned Parenthood locations in Savannah, Ga., and Columbia, S.C.
