COLUMBIA COUNTY, GA (WFXG) -

The Columbia County Board of Education confirms three students were hurt Wednesday afternoon near North Harlem Elementary. A tree uprooted around 1 p.m., leading to those injuries.

The BOE could not tell FOX 54 what type of injuries they are or if the injuries are severe. All three students went to an area hospital.

We have a crew at the scene and will provide any additional details as soon as we get them.
