NORTH AUGUSTA, SC (WFXG) -

A second suspect is now in custody in connection to the armed robbery of a North Augusta convenience store. An incident report indicates 20-year-old Demarkus Mealing surrendered to authorities. Several media outlets, including FOX 54, reported last week that Mealing was a suspect in the case. Another suspect, 22-year-old Matthew Johnson, was arrested last week.

The robbery happened at the Save Stop convenience store on Atomic Road on Thursday, January 28, 2016. Surveillance video reportedly shows one man brandishing a handgun while talking to the clerk. There's no word on just how much money was taken.

According to the incident report, Matthew Johnson confessed to the robbery.
