AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

On February 27, 2016, Augusta Animal Services is hosting a rabies clinic. You can bring your fur-babies in for a discounted microchip, rabies vaccination, and Parvo/distemper vaccination. Animal Services encourages you to vaccinate your animals to keep them and your neighbors' pets safe.

Remember that Parvo is in the ground and more active during the hotter months of the year. All the rain has also stirred up the ground which has the potential to stir up the Parvo disease in places where there has not been a previous problem.

The clinic will be held at Garrett Gymnasium at 1100 Eisenhower Drive in Augusta, from noon until 3 p.m. on February 27.
