Fire burns through house, car in Beech Island

BEECH ISLAND, SC (WFXG) -

A car fire spreads to a house in Beech Island, causing major damage. Crews were called to Zenith Drive around 1 p.m.

No one was injured. The family cannot stay at the house right now because of extensive smoke and water damage. The roof is also badly burned. The Red Cross is helping the residents find another place to stay.

Fire crews believe the house is a total loss.
