Teens suspected in school vandalism, burglaries

GLOVERVILLE, SC (WFXG) - Four teenagers now face charges in connection to vandalism and burglaries at Gloverville Elementary School.

The Aiken County Sheriff's Office says 17-year-old Dillon Proctor, 16-year-old Jonathan Adams, and 16-year-old Roberto Galindo are all charged with burglary. They will be charged as adults because of the amount of damage done to the building. The fourth suspect is not being identified because he's only 15 years old.

We're told the teens broke into Gloverville Elementary six times. The Sheriff's office says they caused several thousand dollars in damage -- including broken windows, damaged laptops and desks, and a fire extinguisher that was set off in the building. The burglaries happened between December 27, 2015, and January 10, 2016.

Three of the teens attend Aiken County Schools and could be disciplined by the school district, according to the sheriff's office. WFXG FOX 54 reached out to the district to find out if disciplinary action has been taken. Our calls have not yet been returned.
