EVANS, GA (WFXG) - This week's High 5 4 Kids is a teen with a big heart. He devotes the majority of his time lending a helping hand to his community.
Meet Kyong Ku. A junior at Greenbrier High School, who's going above and beyond for his community.
"It's like really satisfying to see people really get their things in place," said Ku.
Ku has a tight schedule. He's a student intern at Augusta locally grown, where he manages children activities at seasonal markets and also serves on the youth board for the American Red Cross.
"I just know that he's going to be the CEO of a cooperation someday, he's just that kind of kid," said Amy Sutter.
Sutter met Ku about two years ago. She said he has definitely proven to be an outstanding kid.
"He's the kid you can count on to always be there, to figure out the problems and to lead his peers in whatever activity that he's been assigned to," said Sutter.
Ku has plans to attend the University of Georgia, to study culinary business. He said his goal is to become a head chef.
"He's a natural leader," Sutter said. "He gets along so great with everybody and he has such wonderful natural customer service skills."
"Augusta locally grown has given me a lot of opportunities to help me grow and get a lot of experience before I head to college and do all sorts of culinary stuff," said Ku.
And perhaps one day open a restaurant of his own.
