LINCOLN COUNTY, GA (WFXG) -

The son in a father-and-son pair who are both charged in a September stabbing death has been extradited to Richmond County.

29-year-old Avery Hollands is now in custody in the Richmond County Detention Center. According to investigators, Hollands, along with his father, 49-year-old Oliver Hollands, attacked and killed Maurice Lamar Grant of Harlem on September 21.

An incident report revealed that a witness said the younger Hollands began an argument with Grant over a recent drug arrest. The witness told investigators that both father and son physically attacked Grant, but it was Avery Hollands who stabbed the victim.

Both Hollands suspects are now behind bars in Richmond County.
