UPDATE: Scuttle's Island Water Park coming to North Augusta

NORTH AUGUSTA, SC (WFXG) -

UPDATE: On Thursday, May 19, Scuttle's Island manager Marc Glissman issued a statement on the sale of the property:

At this time, we cannot comment on this matter, as 1SoCar Investments, LLC and Cedar Rock Holdings, LLC (through an affiliated entity) are bound by a confidentiality agreement. This agreement does not permit either party from discussing this or any other matters between these two entities.


Scuttle's Island Water Park is scheduled to open in North Augusta next year. 

The water park is set to open on Memorial Day weekend 2016. 

North Augusta city officials and business leaders made the announcement Thursday morning. The project has been secretly in the works for several months under the code name Project Locker.
