AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) - Crews will continue working through Thursday to replace slabs on I-20 westbound near the state line, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane. The closure will start on the South Carolina side of the Savannah River and end near the Augusta Canal. GDOT officials are asking drivers to slow down in the work area.
The lane closure will be between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. every day through Thursday.
