WASHINGTON, GA (WFXG) - An 81-year-old woman found dead in a ditch Tuesday morning died from a dog attack, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
Neta Lee Adams died from traumatic injury caused by a dog attack, according to an autopsy completed Thursday t the GBI Crime Lab in Decatur. The death was ruled accidental.
Adams' body was found in a ditch along Gordon Street around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. The GBI was called to help with the investigation.
