GBI completes investigation into possible steroid use at Richmond Co. Sheriff's Office

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has completed its investigation into allegations of steroid use at the Richmond County Sheriff's Office.

The case file has been turned over to Augusta Judicial Circuit District Attorney Ashley Wright for her review, said Pat Morgan with the GBI.

Wright said she can't comment on the case because it is pending.

The GBI started investigating in October after Brandon Paquette, a man arrested and charged with possessing steroids, claimed that he sold steroids to multiple past and present Richmond County Sheriff's Office employees.
