2 bank robbery suspects arrested, 1 still at large

HEPHZIBAH, GA (WFXG) -

Two people have been arrested in connection with a bank robbery that happened on Jan. 9 at the Southern Bank in Hephzibah.

Willie Smith, 37, was arrested on Jan. 15, and Ricardo Mobley, 28, was arrested on the night of Jan. 9, according to the Richmond County Sheriff's Office. 

Smith and Mobley are each charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and fleeing or eluding a police officer. 

The sheriff's office has also obtained arrest warrants for Christopher Cunningham, 38, on the same charges. Cunningham should be considered armed and dangerous, deputies said. His whereabouts are currently unknown. Cunningham is described as approximately 5'9" and 140 pounds.

Anyone with information on Cunningham's whereabouts is asked to call the Richmond County Sheriff's Office at 706-821-1080 or 706-821-1020, or their local law enforcement agency if these suspects are outside of Richmond County.
