Gingerbread house contest winners announced at Doctors Hospital

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -  Winners of the Doctors Hospital gingerbread house contest were announced Tuesday at their annual holiday party.

Volunteer Services placed first, while the Women's Center took second. Officials said a lot of love went into the contest, but the goal was to bring staff at the hospital together.

“The thing about the holidays is it's all about spending time with our families,” Chief Operating Officer Chris Cosby said. “We have our work families and personal families.”

Officials said the gingerbread houses will be on display for a few more days in the main lobby.
