AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

A man charged with possessing steroids is now accusing multiple past and present employees of the Richmond County Sheriff's Office of illegal use of steroids, according to the sheriff's office.

Brandon Paquette was arrested Wednesday and charged with possession of testosterone with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. The sheriff's office said Paquette made the accusations Friday when investigators re-interviewed him prior to a bond hearing.

The sheriff's office said Paquette's claims are unsubstantiated, and they are not releasing any names of employees accused. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation will administer a polygraph exam on Paquette to determine if his statements are true.

Based on the findings of the polygraph, the sheriff's office will decide how to proceed.

Brandon Paquette's brother, Cameron Ryan Paquette, also was arrested Wednesday after the sheriff's office said he threatened the narcotics investigator involved in Brandon Paquette's arrest.
