Sheriff's office needs help identifying theft suspect

LINCOLN COUNTY, GA (WFXG) - The Richmond County Sheriff's Office needs your help identifying a man they say stole a cell phone from a Wal-Mart. 

Officials say the man was at the McDonald's in the Wal-Mart on Deans Bridge Rd. when he took a cell phone from the counter. 

The man is described as 40-55 years old, 5'9"-5'11" in height, was wearing a yellow shirt and dark shorts, and is of medium  build.

    Aiken Public Safety Officers responded to a working fire at 611 Hampton Ave at 7:56 PM. As they arrived, crews observed flames coming from the front room of the home. The fire extended into the attic of the residence. Crew members began extinguishing the fire immediately. Both residents were in the home when the fire started and were safely evacuated prior to Public Safety’s arrival.
