City of Washington, former police chief come to agreement over charity money

WASHINGTON, GA (WFXG) - The City of Washington and former police chief Theodosia Glenn have agreed to a settlement in Wilkes County Superior Court.

According to both parties, Glenn will release funds in the account, which total about $10,000, to city officials.

The money will then go to a city gift program for children, or the official Toys for Tots program.

The settlement comes after a scheduled court hearing, which led to a court-ordered deposition of Glenn.

Glenn denies any wrong-doing or misuse of funds.
