More than 100 amateur golfers will compete in the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship in Australia Oct. 23-26. The winner will get an invitation to play in the 2015 Masters Tournament.
The winner and the runner-up also will get a spot in next year's Open Qualifying Series for The Open Championship at St. Andrews.
The 72-hole stroke play event will take place on the Composite Course at The Royal Melbourne Golf Club. It will be televised across 150 countries, including in the U.S. on ESPN and ESPN2.
Coverage will also be streamed live on the official event website at www.AACgolf.com.
The Asia Pacific Golf Confederation (APGC), the Masters Tournament and The R&A are all founding partner of the event, which is in its sixth year.
