Search for missing Edgefield woman continues

EDGEFIELD COUNTY, SC (WFXG) - The search for Tammy Kingery, a missing Edgefield woman continues. Kingery went missing a few weeks ago.

"We want her found," said Park Kingery, Tammy's husband. He said he wants answers, and he says he says he's willing to do whatever it takes to get them. "I'm offering a $1,000 reward for anyone with any leads to help us find her."

Tammy went missing from the family's Mealing Road home in Merriwether on the morning of Sept. 20. Kingery and a band of volunteers came together - for a second time - on Saturday to search for any clues.

"We're kind of going over some of the same areas and some new areas," Park Kingery said. "Just trying to spread out and just try to search and see if we find anything."

And now locals are no longer the only ones who have Tammy on their radar. Her story was recently highlighted on the Jane Velez-Mitchell show on the HLN network.

"The wider it spreads, the more chances we have of finding her. I'm happy about it," Park Kingery said.

He is hoping all the added attention to his wife's case increases the chances if finding her.
