Firefighters put out flames at apartment in North Augusta

NORTH AUGUSTA, SC (WFXG) -

Firefighters responded to an apartment fire Wednesday morning at Pine Crest Apartments off Bradleyville Road in North Augusta.

The fire started around 8:40 a.m., according to the North Augusta Department of Public Safety. It was contained to one room.

No one was home at the time of the fire. Officials said there is significant damage to the building.
