BURKE COUNTY, GA (WFXG) -

A shooting suspect turned himself in to investigators Wednesday night, according to the Burke County Sheriff's Office.

Larry Donnell Davis Jr., 31, is accused of shooting a 26-year-old man around 9 p.m. Tuesday on Corley Road, according to the sheriff's office. He is charged with aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The victim, Mario Jermaine Elam, was shot in the left side of his neck and the left side of his body.
