Man wanted for operating illegal chop shop

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) - Richmond County deputies are still looking for a man wanted for illegally operating a chop shop on Richards Road.

Kyle Edwin Palmer is wanted on arrest warrants for felony owning, operating or conducting a chop shop and two felony counts of theft by receiving stolen property.

Deputies said Palmer also frequents Patiller Road in Hephzibah.

Kyle Palmer's father, Clifford Palmer, and another man, Justin Bossick, were arrested on Sept. 12 in connection with the Richards Road chop shop.

The men are accused of stealing a car - along with other items - and stripping it down to the frame before dumping it in a cemetery.
