Several rolling lane closures are scheduled for Richmond County roads next week.
A contractor for the Georgia Department of Transportation will be working to install reflective pavement markers between Wednesday and Friday.
Crews will be working on Washington Road between mile markers 0.4 and 7.51 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday.
From 9 p.m. to midnight Thursday and Friday, crews will be working on Belair Road between mile markers 0 and 2.27; on Gordon Highway between mile markers 6.5 and 6.75 and on Furys Ferry Road between mile markers 11.1 and 11.3.
GDOT officials say reflective pavement markings improve roadway visibility and help drivers see the road at night and in the rain.
They are asking drivers to use caution, reduce their speed and be alert to changing traffic conditions in all work zones.
