A new Walmart Neighborhood Market is coming to the corner of Windsor Spring Road and Tobacco Road.
The 41,921-square-foot store is set to open in 2016, according to the website for Fletcher Bright Company, the developer building the Windsor Springs shopping center.
The store will be smaller than Walmart Supercenters but will still offer full grocery and pharmacy departments. The first Walmart Neighborhood Market in the CSRA opened in Martinez last year.
The Windsor Springs shopping center also will include 14,800 square feet of other retail shops.
The developer said the nearby Fort Gordon and University Hospital Health Care System should bring traffic to the shopping center.
